Zenith 8G005 Transoceanic Radio - Complete and in Very Good Cosmetic Condition

114.99

Very cool Zenith Transoceanic Radio, Model 8G005 (not sure of any sub-number). One of the coolest vintage tube radios I've ever had in the shop! Measures approximately 16.9" x 11" x 7.9".

This radio is in very good cosmetic conditon, with some wear to the leatherette covering the radio, visible in photos. Flip up the door, however, and she gleams. There are no major scuffs or scratches on the face of the radio, and all buttons and knobs are intact. The interior of the radio is clean.

Radio does work well, pulling in stations on the AM band. The cord is beginning to fray near the outlet prongs and I would recommend replacement for long-term use. I'm not fully aware of this radio's complete capabilities, but I know this can do so much more. Watch a video of this radio in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OT8K56ubmcc
