Vintage 1951 Zenith H615 Tube Radio - White - Working Condition

59.99

Very cool vintage AM tube radio from Zenith, the model H615, in white. This radio is in very good cosmetic condition, especially considering its age. Its white plastic body shows very little scuffing or scratching. Nice, unique piece! The only condition issue to note is very minor - the small ornamental plastic rings affixed to the plastic behind the knobs have come undone. These can easily be glued back in place - I have chosen to let the new owner decide how to do this.

Mechanically, the radio works too, tuning in bands all across the AM spectrum clearly. Cord is in good condition. One issue to be quite aware of is that the dial does not move when you adjust the knob, despite that the tuner actually does work. So you do have to wait for station ID or guess what station you are on. A knowledgeable radio tinkerer can fix this - this flaw is reflected in the radio's price. Still does produce a nice, rich sound!

Approximately 12" L x 6" W x 7" H.
